Overview

EaseOrigin architected and deployed a real-time operational analytics platform for a defense program requiring unified situational awareness across multiple data sources. The platform ingests streaming data from 15 operational systems, applies real-time transformations and anomaly detection, and presents actionable insights through role-based dashboards tailored for operators, analysts, and executive leadership.

The Challenge

Program leadership lacked unified visibility into operational status, with data scattered across 15 disconnected systems each with different formats, update frequencies, and access methods. Analysts spent hours manually compiling reports from multiple sources, and decision-makers often worked with stale data. There was no capability for real-time alerting on critical operational thresholds.

Our Solution

EaseOrigin implemented a streaming data architecture using Apache Kafka for real-time ingestion, Elasticsearch for indexing and search, and Grafana for visualization. We built custom data transformation pipelines with dbt for analytical models, implemented anomaly detection algorithms for automated alerting, and designed role-based dashboards providing appropriate detail for each stakeholder level. The platform includes automated report generation and historical trend analysis.
